Field service management

Clasp

Clasp is BroadBuilder's field service management platform for the office and field teams behind hands-on businesses. It keeps the customer, property, quote, scheduled work, invoice, and activity history connected instead of scattering the job across separate tools.

What the product actually does

One connected field-service record

The authenticated product supports tenant-scoped customers and service locations, service requests, line-item estimates and customer decisions, job conversion, visits, dispatch, technician execution, invoices, manual payments, and payment reconciliation. A customer portal gives each customer access to their own estimates, jobs, invoices, payment history, and approved files.

Designed for office-to-field handoffs

Clasp carries the same job context through quoting, scheduling, field work, billing, attachments, reminders, and activity history. Staff roles, invitations, MFA, session controls, row-level tenant isolation, private files, audit records, and controlled status changes support the operational side of a multi-user service business.

ChatGPT and lead-intake work

A private Clasp connector can find records and create or update customers after the business connects and authorizes its workspace. BroadBuilder has also developed the foundation for a browser-hosted Pro Referral lead bridge. Unattended customer provisioning, durable lead import, and the complete Home Depot customer setup are still development work and are not represented as operational production features.

BroadBuilder’s role

What BroadBuilder delivered

BroadBuilder shaped the product architecture, multi-tenant data model, responsive interface, customer-to-invoice workflow, customer portal, security controls, release evidence, and the first private ChatGPT connector actions. The work also includes provider boundaries for email, files, payments, monitoring, and browser-based lead intake.
