Blu is a person-to-person giving product that lets a donor consider a specific recipient instead of contributing to a pooled campaign. The experience is designed to explain the profile context, review signals, entered amount, fees, and calculated recipient amount before a donor continues.

What the product actually does
Recipient-centered discovery
Blu includes donor and recipient accounts, recipient profiles, a card-based discovery flow, detailed profile views, saved or skipped profiles, and recipient-managed updates. The interface keeps the selected person and the reason for giving visible as the donor moves toward a transaction decision.
Trust signals with stated limits
The product separates a human review status and connected-account context from proof of identity, need, future behavior, or use of funds. Public copy explains those limits so a profile badge is not presented as a guarantee. Transaction screens are designed to show the entered amount, platform and provider costs, and the calculated amount associated with the recipient.
Accounts, reporting, and provider boundaries
The application includes role-specific navigation, recipient dashboards, notifications, donation records, payment-status handling, support and data-deletion routes, and public verification information. Payment processing, payouts, eligibility, market availability, and final transaction status depend on approved providers and production configuration.
